Visionary Lofts successfully carried out works to a clients property in South London. Visionary lofts were very helpful in producing quotations and other bits of information in advance of going into contract. The builders they appointed were polite and well coordinated, resulting in a quick and efficient build programme. Visionary Lofts did a great job on our loft conversion in Streatham into a bathroom, master, walk-in wardrobe and home office. They were reasonably priced--comparable to other highly rated competitors--and did a really good job disclosing the spec and listing all uplifts that would be chargeable (like choosing higher spec doors). When you do building works in your own home, you need to get on well with your builders. Luckily, the build team, led by Mindi, were a pleasure to work with! They were able to do the vast majority of work without entering the house proper, and the "breaking through" day when the new staircase went in was relatively painless (photo below). Mindi was always very responsive by text message to offer advice on how we could save money on the "client directs" (the fittings and trades we arranged), and even proposed a couple of extra things he could fix on our existing drainage, while the scaffolding was up, for a sensible price. His team was also very quick and tidy--clearly they'd done this many times before! We used all the recommended sub-contractors, and were very pleased with the results!

They built my loft very quickly the through last winters snow. This didn’t bother them, they ploughed on and did a great job at a great price. Very professional company. Happy to recommend to anyone.

JP and his team helped us appoint architects, price up the works achieving best value and put a contract in place with a suitable contractor. When an issue arose, which was rarely, they were on hand to assist in sorting it out. Would recommend for similar work without hesitation.

Out contractor for Visionary Lofts was Slawek. Him and his team did a great job in building our new loft and bathroom. They were hard working, on time and very good at navigating all the stages of the building process to a very high standard. Visionary Lofts did our loft conversion in 2022/23. I'm very happy with the finished product, and I’d be happy to recommend them and to use their services again in the future. Pretty much the whole project felt like an efficient and carefully thought-out process. Before building work started they talked us through the process in detail and asked lots of questions to make sure we got everything as we wanted it. Once building work had started, most of the coordination was done by Rafal, the foreman from the construction company they work with. He was always friendly and approachable with a positive and can-do attitude. The builders were very hardworking and polite, and their work was consistently of a high quality. I did have to keep a close eye on their work and ask for a few things to be changed along the way, but I guess that's normal. Their decorator was away for a few weeks so I used a tiler and decorator that I found myself, but if I were doing this again I'd definitely use their usual decorator, as it would have made things a lot easier. The project took a couple of months longer than the original estimate, partly due to post-covid materials shortages. Someone from Visionary Lofts called me regularly during the building work and afterwards to check I was happy with how things were going. On a couple of occasions when problems arose (nothing major), I was able to raise it with the 'client services manager' at Visionary Lofts and they got things sorted out quickly. They weren’t the cheapest company we got a quote from, but several people I’ve spoken to who used cheaper companies found the experience much more stressful and/or weren’t completely happy with the quality of the work. I’m happy I paid that bit extra and got a better service.

We used Visionary Lofts for our loft conversion last summer, and were overall really happy with our choice. The initial communication was great and we were impressed by the use of an app to track outstanding documents/to-do's. We felt that the communication with VL dropped off once the builders arrived, which was a shame. But the foreman Dovydas and his team of builders were incredibly hard working. Martin was their extremely experienced and friendly carpenter, Ignaus was immensely reliable on site, and their plasterer worked tirelessly too (to name a few). The project was finished on time and to a very high standard, so we would certainly recommend the company to others based particularly on the builders themselves.
